Forster – 2
Very shaky and didn’t look comfortable using his feet which ultimately resulted in Manchester United’s resurgence into the game.
Spence – 8
Very solid performance and even picked up an assist. Overall a very promising display from the young full back.
Gray – 8
Out of position again but was still impressive. Played with some real maturity, looking strong and didn’t look out of place.
Dragusin – 8
Solid display from Dragusin. Rarely made a mistake and didn’t allow any of Manchester United’s forwards to provide any real threat.
Porro – 6
Looks tired and isn’t hitting the form we know he can hit. With more players back and more chances to rotate we could expect him return to his former self.
Bissouma – 8
Looked very good, especially in the first 60 minutes, but as the momentum shifted mistakes did begin to creep into his game. However, overall it was still a promising display.
Sarr – 7
Energetic as always, but you feel as though the early yellow card did hinder him perhaps not making him stand out as much as Bissouma.
Maddison – 6
A very quiet display from Maddison as he struggled to get into the game. Unfortunately, he picked up a yellow card as well, ruling him out of our next EFL Cup game against Liverpool.
Son – 7.5
Scored a great goal and that just topped of what was a very decent performance.
Kulusevski – 8.5
Great game again from Kulusevski, and just always looks a step above anyone else on the pitch. He stepped up once again with a goal making it 4 goals in 4 games for the Swede.
Solanke – 9
Solanke highlighted the many strings to his bow in this game, from his follow up to Pedro Porro’s shot, to his relentless pressing and individual brilliance which resulted in his second goal. An allround display from the striker.
